I don't appreciate that personally.
Borrowers need to trust their lender and title company and the hiring company who sends us out has had our BGC and vetted by the company. I don't investigate my clients and I don't appreciate them looking into my personal business either. Gate codes are just that, and most have the temp code anyway.
...I had one ask for my DL and I refused to let him take a copy of it. His reasoning is I have theirs, they want mine. It doesn't work like that.
If they are that insecure, paranoid, or not trusting, they need to go to the title company in person and close their loan. I am there as a professional and doing them a service and a vetted professional. If they are not happy with someone coming to their house, that should have been solved long before I arrived with the hiring party setting it up. It's an invasion of privacy overstepping when they take it into your personal FB and whatever else he dug up on you. more
