 Quick closing 123
Posted by Hew Moon on 9/27/12 5:11pm

Has anyone worked for this company, I am in south Oklahoma and I got called from them last Friday for a closing on Monday, they met my asking price after the usual “we will get approval and call back”. Come Monday night, I am waiting on docs 1 hour prior to closing, they finally return my calls and cancel on me, no reason given. They called me again on Tuesday and asked if I could do a closing today (Thursday) at 6pm; I explain to her my concern that the docs won’t come in a timely manner. She ask what time I would need them by, I say noon since I have other closing all afternoon and need to print all packets so I don’t have to come back to my office (here is south Oklahoma my average drive to a closing is 20 miles one way, this one for them is 39, normally farther than I want to go but I could make it work because of the “loop” I could do with my other closings). She says she will tell title that I need them by noon. Well, come noon today, nothing, come 2:30, email and call them and get voice mail. I call them back at 3pm and they answer, I ask about the docs and say “I need to leave in 1 hour so I don’t mess up my other closing times”; they ask me to wait, I wait 1 hour then call them back, she ask me to continue to wait, tittle is reviewing docs; “I can cut it close if I wait absolutely no more than 20 minutes”, she says O.K. let me call title. I call them back 25 minutes later, my truck is loaded up and ready to leave, they ask me to wait; title said they should have them soon. I had to cancel with them and leave for my other closings. I get a call now after being on the road for almost an hour and ask if I can make the apt. there is no way. They have 4 stars here on NR.com What would you do?
