As a notary who joined this forum over a year ago, it is amazing to me all of the bantering that has been going back and forth for the past few months from the same 10 or so people. I really enjoyed reading and learning from all of the posters for a long time. I was just starting out going on closings, getting calls for adoptions or wills or affidavits and there was so much POSITIVE information, it is quite amazing what this has turned into. As a "newbie", I was never insulted, my questions were answered in a polite fashion and I was grateful for all of the help and suggestions. I do enjoy some of the OT discussions, the jokes, etc. But when I am looking for a post of notary interest, this has become a place that is hard to recognize from a year ago. I do agreet that any public forum has the right to discuss what they choose, to "bash" others or be downright rude. And some of you can say if you don't like what's being talked about, log off. But it would be nice if this forum returned to the wealth of knowledge it once was, and the non stop arguing would disappear. |
