 Refurbished PCs for Backup

I buy refurbished HP business notebook PCs on eBay from reputable vendors for $200 to $300. My office has 4 notebook PCs on a local network that automatically sync the files every hour to SpiderOak encrypted cloud storage. I also run Acronis True Image backup automatically every 12 hours on each PC to Samsung USB flash drives. I keep one recent flash drive backup copy in a fireproof safe.

If one PC or storage drive breaks, I can switch to another backup PC and keep working with no down time. Each PC has a built-in battery so I can keep working during a short power outage. I also have a 12-volt deep cycle marine battery and 1500 watt Cobra power inverter for power during long power outages or mobile office power in my vehicle.

Every few years I sell my used PCs on eBay and replace them with newer model refurbished PCs.

I do not use hard disk drives any more, only Samsung Pro solid state drives.
