Renewal time again. Oh joy! [said sarcastically]

Renewed my drivers license yesterday. Had a DMV appointment for 11:30. Got there early and was done and out by 12:00. <whew> Now, gotta wait 2-4 weeks for the actual license. (was issued a paper interim license as my b'day is next week and don't wanna get caught without a license)

My commission, E&O and notary bond always expire on 1/12/every 4 years. For current commission, that's set for 2026. HOWEVER, my annual BGC also expires in January. This year, it's set to expire on 1/16th (happy birthday to me! Smile ) Made the purchase this morning from XYZ. I could be wrong BUT ... it seems to me that their rates have increased. Paid $99.00 for BGC and certification. If I'd gone with BGC only (yes, that is an option), it would've been $85.00. Couldn't remember if FNF and all those biggies require both or only the BGC so decided to go with the full bore just in case.

Now just waiting for XYZ to begin the day's operations so I can get started. There may be a little glitch in this scenario. XYZ is located in Chatsworth, CA (Los Angeles County). Los Angeles County is suffering through 4 devastating wildfires with 5 people dead and thousands of buildings destroyed. There are evacuation orders in place for large areas. Not sure, but I believe Chatsworth is included in those evacuation orders. Oh well! Mine is but a tiny bit of inconvenience compared to all those displaced families and all those who have lost their homes and businesses.
