 Re: Signing Company Question
Posted by  SamIam_CA on 4/28/05 11:51pm

I heard about a loan falling thru just last night. A borrower called me in a panic to see if I would be able to notarize her loan docs.

She said that the lender told her the original notary completely messed up the package and her loan would not fund if she couldn't get someone to do it all over again. The borrower told me that the lender was e-mailing her the docs directly and it was up to her to find the notary.

Now here's the kicker - the borrower also said that the signatures and notarization all needed to be dated 04/25/05. I politely declined.
