 State of Alabama Approves Videoconference Notarizations

Effective Friday, April 3, 2020, the State of Alabama will join several other states that temporarily authorized notaries to conduct notarizations using videoconference methods. This is not the same thing as RON because it is temporary and comes with certain stipulations.

A number of Alabama Notaries and NSA's had stopped accepting appointments in light of curfews and the need for social distancing due to COVID-19.

Important Notice

At this time, you must be signed-in to Post a Message to the Notary Talk Discussion Forum.
