Hi Garret and welcome to the forum. Of all the suggestions you might get here the biggest may be to look for another source of income as Loan signing work has diminished due to higher cost of loans.

Whatever line of self-employment you end up in it appears you could use some experienced help in setting up a business, and yes, a tax accountant to clear up your tax confusion.

As far as your profile is concerned, it may be best to abbreviate it to about 50% of what you have. Remove that you have only done "two jobs" in notary work experience and change your picture out from a nurse to a businessman.
