 Re: TAX REFUND ERROR HELP
Posted by  Doris_CO on 9/16/22 2:15pm

Welcome to the Notary forum Garrett. My suggestion is to go to SCORE.org first (a free site) and hopefully find a mentor who can help you, especially with your taxes. The notary fees in Colorado are $5.00 max per document, not per signature, and $10.00 max for Electronic notarization, including RON. Another suggestion is to look for an IRS local office and make an appointment with an enrolled tax agent. Once you get your taxes straightened out, you can file an amended tax return for both Federal and State. In the meantime, since you're still on disability, work on your healing first, and look for a part time job (one that doesn't cost you money), that fits your current situation right now.
