When it comes to purchase and sale transactions that are time sensitive with many prorations, it is imperative that docs drop even if you can't do faxbacks, Genius scan is a life saver. I can see why title didn't want to pay, it was out of the hands of the SS.
Nonetheless $90 is too little money to jump through all their hoops. The size of the package is not so much the issue as is docs sent later, time and place changed from the original plan and the faxback requirements.
Since most of our work these days is the purchase market, from now on negotiate for more fee and make sure you have time to to the signing, faxback and drop asap to make shipper's deadline. Shipper deadlines in LA are later than areas outside metro, it's the traffic in LA that is killer, especially on holiday weekends.
BTW a lot of purchase and sale transactions are scheduled to close on Fridays, the 15th or the end of month.
