And if any of you are hesitant to donate, be aware that you can do so anonymously and/or keep the amount of your donation hidden. $5 - or even $1, as Lee/AR said, adds up and can make a difference. It only takes a couple of minutes. (I've done mine.)
This fight is like David vs. Goliath - and we know who "David" is here... Wouldn't it be great if enough was raised to hire our own lobbyist and/or attorney?
Also, we shouldn't forget that it's not just our businesses we're fighting for. The security of notarized transactions - and the private data of those requesting them - all over the country is at stake. The general public should have a significant interest in this fight, as well. Unfortunately for us, there are so many other issues going on in this country right now that it's tough to get any attention paid to this. But that doesn't mean we should give up!
