You schedule a few days early, great, but if the things they need do not come in, it gets rescheduled and not happy as we turn down closings. Last-minute when things come in and ready to go and print, great, but then it's last minute and complain as well.
There is no winner here. For me, I prefer to fill up my week and roll the dice of things happening as scheduled. If not busy, I also don't mind to print and run either last minute. I have been at this long enough I do not need any prep time, as nice as it is, I can print and run.
