 Re: Title Company not communicating

A large part of the problem is that the Title Companies have not increased staff and are working from home. Same with lenders. The Title Company won't schedule until they receive the loan documents from the lender.

I am also a Realtor and recently had to get an extension of time to close for two Buyers because their lenders had not sent the documents to the Title Company and could only provide a vague estimate of when they would be sent.

Also had an Escrow Officer who was complaining because she needed to work up 5 files! It kept her from sending me the settlement statement to review and of course there were errors.
