I doubt the reorder would ha e caught it. They are so understaffed that they don't have time to check if vesting matches previously recorded dicuments. The don't even check that documents include the legal descripti, exhibit A. Often recorded without that. The problem is most Escrow Officers no longer have an Escrow Assistant and lenders are also short staffed and have been since before 2008. Also, the Title Officers at the Title Companies are centrally located with one Title Officer covering multiple counties. I have actually come across an Escrow Officer who did not know how to read a Preliminary Title Report!!
