Do they give you the paper, the toner and the pens, folders when you close their loans? Have you ever received a Christmas bonus or been invited to parties during the holidays? Do they give you a gas allowance or a company car to use?
If the answer is "no", then you are an IC, not a PT employee. They have an umbrella policy that covers their employees, and even when you accept closings from a SS, their umbrella cover's you in most cases.
Something fishy going on...I'd leave "as is" and continue on like you have been all these years. If they think so little of you after the relationship you have and cut you, so be it. It's hurtful and they are losing a good person. |
