It's unfortunate that happened, but testing the waters, I clicked on several notary profiles in the various platforms out there including SD and XYZ. When you get on the notary page their address is there. Name phone number, address, email and fax number. A little detective work with just your name and city or zip code will produce results with very little effort.
We are considered public servants, and unless you are a police officer or a judge, it's really hard to redact that information from our profiles if we want to gain work.
I would be extremely upset myself, but not sure who you can focus that anger at, as our information is out there everywhere.
