Yes, the RTC is so easy for them to sign in the wrong place. What did me in was the time a real picky lender made me go back out and have the borrower resign the RTC at my expense, even though he crossed out and initialed the mistake and signed correctly on the acknowledgement line. I adopted a new plan similar to yours by marking where they sign with a sticky flag. I buy them at the Dollar Tree. You get a whole sheet of stickies in different vibrant colors. I take the red pointer flag stickies and overlap two of them to make an X over the I WISH TO CANCEL area. Works like a charm at least 99% of the time. There are the occasional borrowers who want to remove the stickies though. I have to watch them like a hawk regardless.
