I would bring it up once with the hiring authority.....then if they still want to proceed with the signing I would proceed with signing and date my certs accordingly....the date the signers appeared before me and signed.

As the little disclaimer box states, "we are not responsible for the validity, accuracy, or truthfulness of the document."

My experience has been the recorder's office could care less about what gets recorded. As long as notorial seals are legible.

The only issue I could see would be a saleability issue of the paper on the secondary market....
