I have always hated that they pay less but make more demands on the notary. Living in a small town, which most can identify with, the pick up is not close by and means a special trip home and then back out BEFORE 3:00 when fed ex picks up from the only location in my area (or drive an additional 30 miles each way to get an hour later pick up)
my response to this was to get a light weight very inexpensive fax machine and fax from the client's home. When I was doing signings I never had a problem with them allowing me to do this. Of course I explained that it got their loan process started quicker.......
But I so agree that they rarely't even look at the faxes before the ON'd package gets to their desk
