i was fortunate to be a realtor and our closing agent had been doing mobile notary work on the side but didn't really like doing it so she asked if i wanted to do some. I loved it and I still do. Real estate pays better but much more stressful and competitive. But it took a few years to build up a reputation.

Yeah, waiting on late docs, juggling appts, etc are what stress me out but I love meeting strangers so I"m getting paid to put people at ease and get to know total strangers. It fits me perfectly. Helps that I know all the lingo since I"m a realtor too. I don't like doing car loans...I pay cash. But you adjust and get out of your comfort zone occasionally.
