What happened to notary practice
Posted by IAC of MI on 10/22/19 1:45pm Msg #611390
As notaries, we ALL should be following notary signing practice. To be more clear, I have had numerous signings when I present my notary log book for their signature I am hit with I never had to sign a log. I inform the signer the purpose of the log and no one has given me any problem. But why are you fellow notaries not utilizing the one sure document that protects YOU in the event a questionable signing occurred. I have been a notary for over 33 yrs. I have completed thousands of notarizations and always had clients sign. Also, I still krimp! Another notary practice not being utilized in todays society. My take is, if you want to be a notary, conduct your service in a professional manner and follow the regulation set fort.
