I meant I took the test for the 11th four year term, starting out as a notary for the Oxnard City Clerk's office in 1973 when I was but a wee chickadee.
My how times have changed. My first seal was a bronze, hand held seal, and I had an embosser too. I had a journal, which I maintained, all my work was on behalf of City business, and I notarized subdivision maps as a matter of course in my role was recording secretary for the City Council and Planning Commission. |
