As long as the title company can make it worth the notary's while, I'd sign up for it. One in my area offered a notary $500 a day to drive 60 miles to sit all day and notarize everything she could do from 9 to 5. She turned it down since she was making $1500 a day on her own, travel, wear and tear and too far away from her family. She would also be losing good customers while she worked strictly for that title company. Was she becoming an employee while doing this accommodation?

It's got to be a win/win for notary.
