notaries are notorious for never-ending optimism in the face of certain demise. AMROCK told me this afternoon that it has at least 7-8 times more notaries than needed for the current volume of signing opportunities. July/August is expected to be much worse.

I like RON. Today I had to actually ask the borrowers to slow down. We were done in 10-12 minutes. They were a couple about 25 years old, refinancing in to a $700,000 5.5% loan and taking out $110,000 for a new kitchen.

I wish I could do 40 RON closings a week. I would be bored out of my mind, but it is super easy.
