Now THAT was funny, Beverly, and in the spirit of my original message.
For what it's worth, I have done closings for soap opera actresses ("Guiding Light" if I remember right), one from "Sex And The City" and one of the hot FOX News Channel anchors. I also did a closing for a model in from LA, in her suite in a hotel overlooking Central Park. We were going to do the signing in the hotels biz center, but the poor dear was under the weather and asked if I'd mind terribly coming up.
To give a constructive critique, my problem with kkdmiddleton's message is not that I am suddenly crestfallen over realizing I don't have a shot with HL. It's just lacking in humor. Pointing out what is obvious is NOT funny. No matter how many times someone types "LOL" around a message, it doesn't make it humorous.
Thank you.
