While I can't disagree with most of what you've said, the bottom line is that this SA was printing docs at 8:30 pm, which means it's very likely that they weren't sent over until late in the evening. Whether that was the original arragement or not I don't know, but we all know how often these companies send edocs many hours after they should have. This is the type of thing that can happen when these companies send out docs so late. They leave no wiggle room for the unexpected to happen.
I think it's great if you're willing to go that extra mile, but I certainly don't think we're obligated to do a signing at midnight becuase docs didn't show up until 10 pm. That's why it's so important to give a drop dead time with edocs. Let somebody else throw their life into upheaval to get it done.
Like I've said before, my attitiude is that a lack of planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part. |
