The Wayne County Registrar of Deeds

has some very large cajones, and a very tiny brain. I can just see the friendly, similing faces of the recording clerks (of whom there have been so many complaints) doing closings and issuing title insurance.

What with the good job they've done on just copying and posting documents, I'm sure they'll do a wonderful job of doing something they know nothing about.

MLTA is right, it's doubtful if they have the authority...looks like grandstanding to me; in response to a very well-deserved lawsuit for not fulfilling the needs of the people.

My word, call for an election. California got rid of a governor, seems like it would be easier to fire a Registrar of Deeds. What a buffoon, indeed.

thanks for the update, Julie.
