Print, package, sign and ship. Be sure to get the address to ship to and a FedEx, UPS or DHL account number to bill to. You do not need an account. You do need to have some legal size shipping supplies, airbill forms etc. If you want, you can set up your own accounts with the shippers and generate the airbills online and also order supplies online to be delivered right to your door. Just remember to bill recipient (or third party, as the case may be), and keep a copy of the shipping details. I always include the shipping details with my completion report and invoice if I have not shipped with their account number previously. This is to notify the receiver that of what tracking number and account number was used for shipping. In the 10+ years I've been shipping that way, I have not had a bad billing that wasn't my fault (transposed the account numbers). |
