I agree about taking a part time job....I had to finally quit the measly part time job because the boss wouldn't let me leave a few times to take a closing where I would have made more in the one job than I made at the part time job in three days!

Like others I'm scaling back on expenses and leisure activities, not buying things I really don't need, and I'm doing fine. Not living high off the hog, that's for sure. But making it. Fortunately I have no one else depending on me for financial assistance. I'm 'careful' where I spend my money nowadays.
