Looks like the new wording of acceptable identification clears up the passport issue that has been discussed here. Many notaries accept any passport stamped by the US. However, the passport must contain the five elements that other identification requires. This is not new but is now more transparent. Clearly it cuts out the vast majority of passports we will ever see. In fact, I believe there are only 2-4 rarely seen passports that meet the criteria.
