What kind of docs did you accommodate for her (refi/sale/purchase of real estate property [full package], Grant Deed, Debt Resolution, Surplus Funds, etc.)?
Unfortunately, I think you've been scammed and won't see those funds. First clue, "didn't have UPS set up or much less know how to send me a label." Setting up a UPS account is quick and easy. Generating and sending shipping label also quick and easy. ALERT: NEVER, ever return docs using your account (your funds). Hiring party will have to take the time to set up their shipping account and send a label. If you're feeling generous and it's just a couple of pages, <<maybe>> pay/use a postage stamp to forward docs. If you're not reimbursed, you're only out fifty cents. jmo
Can you give us any other info on this company -- address, phone number? May help someone avoid this headache.
Hope I'm wrong and you do manage to get paid. Keep pestering them. Send them a collection letter. And, if necessary take them to Small Claims Court.
