My suggestion would be to send the law firm a certified letter along with copy of confirmation and invoice. The letter should advise them your notary fee must be received by you within XXX days from receipt of your letter (your call as to the deadline, keeping in mind USPS delivery times - perhaps 10 days from date of receipt of your letter) and if not received by that date you will file a grievance/complaint with their State's Bar Association. If payment is not received by that drop-dead date, follow through and file the complaint with that Bar Association.
