Count me with those sending kudos your way! You're offering one more example of how to work smart and not run yourself into the ground. I will not work for a poorly rated company, either, just because they offer to pay me in advance. Some here have actually had a different company call them back with a higher offer for the same assignment. (In my area, seems they always manage to find someone who will take it, but even so, I'm not going to be the one who makes it easy for them.)
I hope lots of other people follow your lead and be part of the solution, not part of the problem. Life is so much easier that way, without all the drama that often goes along with working for those kinds of companies.
