Yesterday I heard part of an interview with a nurse (I think in WI) talking about a Covid patient of hers who was gravely ill, yet arguing with medical staff that they were lying to him about what was wrong with him. I don't remember for sure if she said he passed, but it's tragic nonetheless. Medical staff are carrying the largest burden for this pandemic and I wish everything possible was being done (by us all) to help lessen that burden for them. They're today's heroes!
The fastest way to get this pandemic behind us, to re-open all businesses and boost the economy would be for EVERYONE to wear masks, social distance, and avoid large gatherings - even outside. Such a simple thing, but some folks don't get that (or don't care). Very sad... |
