Agree, and I have also discovered that a few GA notaries really do not care about being an attorney state as much as we "out of GA" notaries do. Somehow, they still do closings, legal or not, get work sent to them and continue to just overlook it from a few postings I have read over the years here. I know from when I do GA properties, I have to call and touch base with the attorney who reviews the mortgage, note, and the RTC with them. It takes a whole 5 minutes (it's good to be a lawyer in GA)...
Not saying all do, but I do think some do somehow get around that curve ball. jmo
