| I can attest to that! Years ago I did a closing in FL for a couple who just moved here from NYC and we met at Mcdonald's. They were positive the closing was a scam since they have never seen a real estate transaction #1 at McD's and #2 without anyone else present or an attorney, and such few documents. They finally trusted me since I had their docs and no money exchange happened, but they said was the weirdest thing they had ever seen. NY has everything it seems in triplicate and many hoops to jump through, attorneys on both sides. Way too easy in FL they said, lol. |
