I had TCs do that to me as well. Even had them say I missed signing the note! I KNEW they were full of it then, because I can't tell the borrower what their interest rate is until I review the note. I also make it standard to review the HUD and the note before beginning any signing. Too often, the loan crashes upon reviewing one or the other of those docs. However, agree that missing docs due to my error would certainly warrant a free return trip to rectify the error, and missing even one is one too many.
