If you've not heard of this organization, it was founded by Republicans: George Conway, John Weaver, Jennifer Horn, Steve Schmidt and Rick Wilson. The most notable is George Conway who is the husband of Kelly Ann Conway, Counselor to this president.
The goal of the Lincoln Project is to prevent Trump from being reelected. They have put out many powerful videos and commercials. Here is the latest:

There have been many videos, but this is the most recent. You can go to their website to learn more. I, for one, donate to their cause.

The Bible Donald Trump held up in front of St. John's Church was the Gideon Bible from the hotel room where he shacked up with the porn star.

As of today, the entire White House complex has been surrounded by fencing - more fencing than has been added to the southern border under Trump's "Build That Wall" promise. We have never done this before, so why are we doing it now?
We're doing it because Donald Trump is a coward who is hiding behind that fencing, unwilling or unable to face the American public except through photo ops because his entire Presidency to date has been a reality TV show.
And before you start with "but the protestors are threatening him" - those of us of a certain age can remember when Richard Nixon - who was hated as much if not more than Trump - walked out of the WH one evening and engaged in a dialog with anti-war protesters on the WH lawn. If Trump cannot rise to the level of Nixon - a disgraced President - what does that say about him?
Oh, and about that "new" border wall - most of it is a replacement of existing barrier, and although Trump claimed it was "impregnable", DHS has admitted that people are cutting through it or climbing over it, and have asked contractors to come up with solutions.
So the Trump Wall joins Trump Vodka, Trump Steaks, Trump Fragrance, Trump Casinos, Trump Resorts, Trump Shuttle, Trump Mortgage, Trump University, etc., etc., etc. in the dustbin of history - nothing he does works, ever. If you cannot see that, there's something wrong with you.

10 replies | Antifa tried to attack me tonight. I filed a police report. | By NK_UT on 6/6/20 12:05am
Badly misguided liberals like Mike would jump to all sorts of conclusions about me. He thinks he knows what antifa is because msnbc told him what it is. The far-left adl told him what it is. He has no clue and is so threatened by having his bubble popped that he can't even engage.
Typical illiberal liberal move.
I couldn't care less about what Mike thinks Antifa is. He only gets his information from left-wing sources. Despite everything, I still don't think he has any malign intent. He is just brainwashed by media and he just can't stand it that I will push back as hard as he pushes.
I'm sure that he and several others have exchanged snarky private messages about me. I don't care. Their side is just so used to being in control of the narrative through their media and social media cohorts that when someone comes out who will use their language and their turn their tactics around on them, they simply lose it.
Even so. I still don't think they have malign intent. I don't take offense. They may be triggered, but to me, it's all just animated debate.
But now his precious antifa has threatened the well-being of me and my family. They made expressly anti-Asian comments about my wife and unborn child. And this was after I agreed that what happened to George Floyd was a tragedy and that cop committed straight-up murder. They did it purely because I'm white. And they said as much.
I called the Dallas police, since that's where the antifa terrorist lives and then called my local police.
The officer passed everything up to his investigators and I filed a criminal complaint with the IC3 following the officer's advice.
They said that since I and my family weren't harmed that they can't do much but investigate and contact the Dallas police to move the investigation along, but that if any actual harm is done to me, my business, or my reputation that it will rise to the level of terrorism specifically because they are doing it to try to force me to bend to their political ideology.
I hope you are proud of your precious antifa.

1 replies | Who are Antifa? | By MikeC/TX on 6/5/20 6:45pm
I saw a post below from NK_UT in which he claimed that I didn't know what I was talking about when it comes to Antifa and then proceeded to describe it as a bunch of communists who were opposed to Hitler's fascist government.
That might be accurate if we were still living in Hitler's Germany, but Antifa is a movement, not an organization, and I would submit that he's the one who doesn't know what he's talking about. The movement first came to the US in the 1970s, and you can't compare it to what was going on in Germany (and Italy) back in the 1930s. What we call Antifa today is a loose coalition of groups and individuals who are opposed to fascism. These are not necessarily socialists or communists, and to paint them that way shows either ignorance or political bias. They had kept a low profile until Charlottesville when it became clear that fascist right-wing extremists were beginning to flex their muscles.
Here's an article from the Anti-Defamation League that explains it all:
http://www.adl.org/resources/backgrounders/who-are-antifa
And as an aside - I know when and how to use Wikipedia, and have known that since it first started almost 20 years ago. It's not the only resource, and it's not always accurate. To suggest that older people don't know how to use it is an incredibly stupid thing to say amid a litany of stupid things that have been said.
You're free to respond, NK_UT, but understand that I will not engage - I don't have the time or patience to deal with people like you.

If that's the case, then you can disabuse yourself of it. I may not agree with you (vehemently and unapologetically, in fact), but I have no reason to call you a terrorist.
I AM calling, and will continue to call, the radical socialists/communists of Antifa and BAMN, the violent black supremacists of BLM, and the La Raza insurgents mentally ill and/or leftist/racial terrorists.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF JOE CONSERVATIVE"
Joe gets up at 6 a.m. and fills his coffeepot with water to prepare his morning coffee. The water is clean and good because some tree-hugging liberal fought for minimum water-quality standards. With his first swallow of coffee, he takes his daily medication. His medications are safe to take because some stupid commie liberal fought to insure their safety and that they work as advertised. All but $10 of his medications are paid for by his employer's medical plan because some liberal union workers fought their employers for paid medical insurance - now Joe gets it too. He prepares his morning breakfast, bacon and eggs. Joe's bacon is safe to eat because some girly-man liberal fought for laws to regulate the meat packing industry.
In the morning shower, Joe reaches for his shampoo. His bottle is properly labeled with each ingredient and its amount in the total contents because some crybaby liberal fought for his right to know what he was putting on his body and how much it contained. Joe dresses, walks outside and takes a deep breath. The air he breathes is clean because some environmentalist wacko liberal fought for laws to reduce industry pollution in our air. He walks to the subway station for his government-subsidized ride to work. It saves him considerable money in parking and transportation fees because some fancy-pants liberal fought for affordable public transportation, which gives everyone the opportunity to be a contributor.
Joe begins his work day. He has a good job with excellent pay, medical benefits, retirement, paid holidays and vacation because some lazy liberal union members fought and died for these working standards. Joe's employer pays these standards because Joe's employer doesn't want his employees to call the union. If Joe is hurt on the job or becomes unemployed, he'll get a worker compensation or unemployment check because some stupid liberal didn't think he should lose his home because of his temporary misfortune.
It's noontime and Joe needs to make a bank deposit so he can pay some bills. Joe's deposit is federally insured by the FDIC because some godless liberal wanted to protect Joe's money from unscrupulous bankers who ruined the banking system before the Great Depression.
Joe has to pay his Fannie Mae-underwritten mortgage and his federal student loan because some elitist liberal decided that Joe and the government would be better off if he was educated and earned more money over his lifetime.
Joe is home from work. He plans to visit his father this evening at his farm home in the country. He gets in his car for the drive. His car is among the safest in the world because some America-hating liberal fought for car safety standards. He arrives at his boyhood home. His was the third generation to live in the house financed by Farmers' Home Administration because bankers didn't want to make rural loans. The house didn't have electricity until some big-government liberal stuck his nose where it didn't belong and demanded rural electrification.
He is happy to see his father, who is now retired. His father lives on Social Security and a union pension because some wine-drinking, cheese-eating liberal made sure he could take care of himself so Joe wouldn't have to.
Joe gets back in his car for the ride home, and turns on a radio talk show. The radio host keeps saying that liberals are bad and conservatives are good. He doesn't mention that the beloved Conservatives have fought against every protection and benefit Joe enjoys throughout his day.
Joe agrees: "We don't need those big-government liberals ruining our lives! After all, I'm a self-made man who believes everyone should take care of themselves, just like I have.

Exactly what would it take for you members of the Apologista Chorus to disavow Donald Trump? I thought the crotch-grabbing would be enough, but it wasn't. The porn star hush money, and the coverup? No. 19,000 very public lies? You still hung in there, explaining away every one. A ballooning deficit, larger by far than that compiled by your preeminent bugabear, Barack Obama? Just something else to excuse.
But now, now he's called out the military on peaceful protesters -- and for no reason other than for a blasphemous campaign photo op. Does that not make your constitutionally purified, patriotically infused, all-American blood just boil?
If it doesn't, please tell me: Exactly what WOULD it take?

It's the exact same set of tactics the communist Chinese use to subvert the US today with their doctrine of "unrestricted warfare".

Do a little.research on your own. Forget MSNBC, CNN NYT AND CNN. Wanna see pictures of someone delivering pallets of bricks to the thugs you call quiet protesters? Why do protesters need a pallet of bricks? Also, check out YouTube. There is a video of a PAID PROTESTER, he gets paid for every protest he is at. And he gets paid for every protester he can recruit. Who cuts the check? George Soros. Do your own research!
