This is not your living room we're talking about. As a secure facility, the Situation Room would not have wireless, because wireless can be intercepted. That's why there was that rat's nest of cables on the table - everything has to be plugged in. It's the same reason why cell phones are not allowed in a SCIF - the signal can be intercepted and it's possible to remotely activate the speaker.

No DNA testing was needed for bin Laden - they had the intact body and he could be visually identified. DNA testing was necessary to identify al Baghdadi because all they had were various unidentifiable body parts and pieces of four people. And I read reports today that al Baghdadi's remains were also buried at sea for the same reason that was done with bin Laden's body -burying him on land would give his followers the ability to build a shrine. |
