I worked the polls here to - a couple elections

My "job" was not to ask for the ID - that was with the people working the machines; just because *you* didn't have to ask for ID does not mean ID was not required and logged - it was probably done prior to them getting to you ....it's required here to make sure the person is voting in the correct precinct before they even hit the polling booth- because, ya know, people can't read.
