Sorry, but that's just nonsense about there being a 'fix' - and it's nonsense that is harming our democracy by creating doubt in our election process.
First, something like 75% of us either mailed in or put our ballots in a drop box prior to election day. I personally received confirmation via text that my returned ballot had been received more than a week before the actual election day. Each individual ballot is carefully tracked from the time it's sent out, which makes it very plausible that a winner could be quickly projected. And yes, all the votes will be counted and a final tally confirmed.
I've also worked the polls in the past and I found that everyone I met who was involved came with the same attitude as you - to properly carry out their duties to ensure a fair election. I saw no evidence of any party affiliation or any attempt to manipulate votes. There IS no mechanism that allows for any "fix" and no evidence of that happening. Even Elder backed off on that claim.
