He doesn't rank up there with Avenatti. The people who have a beef with him are the people who made deals that for one reason or another didn't work out. More times than once, a deal fell through because the owner was not being honest about finances. Other times, an owner would just refuse to do the things he expected them to do to get their business back on track. There are more success stories than failures, and he's not taking advantage of anyone.
