My honest question is, Why didn't he do that last time & from the very beginning of his campaign this time without having to be "outed" by staffers?
I think another valid question would be, why didn't the media (all of them, any of them) every ask him last time if he paid his staff what he was telling everyone that is what we, as a country, MUST do in order for employees to even have a "livable wage"? To the same point, why hasn't any of the media asked him, and every other $15/hr minimum wage candidate, THIS time asked before now?
The media question is not a "gottcha" biased media moment. To me, it shows a lack of desire of any in the media (left, right, center, to the even off the wall variety) to dig into different angles of interest regarding the people running for President other than the 'horse race' and partisan angles 'stories' normally covered by them. I think some of them might have realized this themselves as in the last Dem debate they were asked how many would give up their own personal health insurance plans for a public option -- the ones that are promoting a single payer plan that didn't raise their hands need to be asked about it in follow up one on one interviews, imo.
The same could be said of those who say they will raise taxes on millionaires. Most of them are, or will be, in that category by the end of their campaign, largely with the help of the many books nearly all of them already have or will have out by then. Why not ask that if they honestly believe what they are promoting, can they provide a copy of the check they wrote to the IRS for the additional tax money that they MUST HAVE sent in above their current tax liability bills? (please note, for any who may want to address this question, a direct answer to this question does not have the name Trump in it at all -- they are promoting it, it is about what THEY say verses what they actually believe)
