The NYT is reporting - and other media outlets have confirmed - that the long-awaited DOJ IG report on the FBI's investigation into Russia has provided answers that Barr and Trump won't like.
While it was found that some mistakes were made at the lower levels of the investigation, there was no political bias at the upper levels (including Jim Comey, Andrew McCabe, and Peter Strozk), the FISA warrants were obtained properly and legally, and the Steele Dossier was NOT used as evidence to obtain the FISA warrants.
This completely destroys Trump's argument that the FBI was out to get him, and destroys much of what Devin Nunes has been saying for months, including during the impeachment hearings. The report will be officially released in the first week of December.
