We do that in TX as well, but only a limited number of people here can vote by mail (must be over 65 or disabled). The process is the same - a barcode on the outer envelope identifying the voter, a signature that has to be verified. It works. Trump's claim that "millions of illegal ballots will be printed" is just nonsense - this is not the Wild West. He, his family, and his staff vote by mail - it's safe for them, but not for us?
