This is a GOP hit piece; I think it originally appeared in the NY Post. At least some of it is made out of whole cloth; for instance, the part that says that Schmidt didn't vote in the past two elections. He has submitted proof that he voted, but the paper and the author are refusing to make a correction. I don;t see what the problem is - you make a mistake, you print a correction. That's the way it's supposed to be done.
I'm not sure how much of this article I believe, but if they allow that glaring error to stand, I'm not confident in the reporting. |
