What's really surprising to me is that these historic buildings which house the most important people in the world have no lockdown features. Prisons do, some banks do...heck even the entire island of Palm Beach has a measure in place which will raise the bridges not letting anyone off the island in case of an incident.
They should have a gating system that when an incident occurs, the gates close and that's it. Everyone inside stays inside and no getting out. Have safe rooms that can be accessed and locked from the inside...
