Selling superhero cards was a brilliant move. Always someone willing to pay for something. $500K I would say is not a bad profit. Why is it a con? Did he do it illegally? Just because you cannot agree, doesn't make it a con. A definition of con artist is a person who cheats or tricks others by persuading them to believe something that is not true (like winning the election).
That could be true in many things he does, but this was pure business. How many books did the Obama's write? What's the difference?
