What's wrong with being "woke"?
Posted by MikeC/TX of TX on 1/15/23 7:01pm Msg #82291
"Woke" people ended slavery.

"Woke" people gave women the right to vote.

"Woke" people gave us the Civil Rights Act.

"Woke" people gave us the Voting Rights Act.

Which of these things are you personally opposed to because you hate the idea of being "woke"?

What's wrong with being "woke"? It literally means being aware of what's going on around you and responding to it. Is there something wrong with that? Or do you have a new definition of the word "woke"?`
