The president is requesting $1.6 Billion to try and recover money obtained thru fraud.
The way dollars are being tossed around - billion here billion there - people don't realize exactly how much that really is.
The $1.6 billion could hire 12,800 people at $125,000/year !!!!
Will these $$ be used to hire new people? Laid off tech people maybe? Contracted out to favored companies? Shifted to covered existing government employees? Or will it just disappear in the brew that is government? |
